To delete memory markers in Pro Tools, you have several efficient methods: 1. Drag to Trash on the Markers Ruler: Click and hold the left mouse button on the marker you wish to delete in the Markers ruler. Drag the marker either up or down until your cursor changes into a trash can icon, then release the mouse button. 2. Alt/Option-Click on the Markers Ruler: Hold down the Alt key (Windows) or Option key (Mac) and click directly on the marker in the Markers ruler. Your cursor will change to a minus sign or an eraser icon, indicating it's ready to delete. 3. Delete from the Memory Locations Window:
- 1.Open the Memory Locations window by pressing Ctrl + 5 (numeric keypad on Windows) or Command + 5 (numeric keypad on Mac), or by navigating to Window > Memory Locations.
- 2.In this window, you can Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) click on a specific memory location to delete it.
- 3.Alternatively, right-click on a marker within the Memory Locations window and select "Delete" from the contextual menu.
- 4.Renumbering: If you delete a memory location by deleting its slot, all subsequent memory locations will be renumbered down by one. If you clear a slot, the numbers remain, but the attributes are removed.
